Liberal guilt

On the walk home from work, I passed a sad Indian standing in the middle of the sidewalk with his arms outstretched at his sides, like he was asking for something or otherwise upset and confused. I think he was begging, but he wasn’t saying anything, just standing there looking sad and crazy. I wanted to walk up to him and say, “I know, I know. I’m soooo sorry about the Kennewick Man.”
