This blog started late at night on November 11, 2003, because of insomnia and unemployment. It drifted toward an angry political bent in the remainder of 2003, but no longer. Over the years, the blog has called home Tucson, Portland, Denver, and for most of 2005, a Honda Civic and friends’ sofas.
Our mission always hovers around words from Grant Morrison’s The Invisibles:
People look at us and see the poor and the mad, but they’re looking at us through the bars of their cages. There’s a palace in your head, boy. Learn to live in it always.
